I don’t like the title, it reminds me of Bon Jovi… She was originally “Tulip Girl”, but she’s lying in the middle of rose petals, so I had to change it. The tulip-name came from the color of her hair.

I think this painting is outside of my usual style, but it’s great to widen your gaze sometimes, so to speak. This will also be the promo poster for my upcoming exhibition in August (if I don’t change my mind which happens a lot). I also got to try my new brushes for this one, home made. So proud.
